- Languages: Kuy (kdt); So Thavung (thm); Thro (sss)
- Dates: 2018-
- Historical information: This collection represents fieldwork on three Austroasiatic languages -- Kuy, Thro, and So Thavung -- conducted in Isan, in northeastern Thailand, by Raksit Tyler Lau-Preechathammarach, then a graduate student in the Department of Linguistics at UC Berkeley, beginning in August 2018. Elicitation focused on phonation type (breathy vs. modal in all three languages, in addition to creaky voice in So Thavung). The project focused on comparing differences among speakers, with recordings from speakers of various ages.
- Scope and content: The materials consist mainly of audio recordings of elicitation of lexical items, with supplementary notes. There are also natural conversations, and anonymized data from a production study consisting of target words embedded in a carrier sentence (items 2018-38.076 through 2018-38.155).
