    • Historical information: This collection consists of materials produced by students of the graduate-level field methods course in the Department of Linguistics at UC Berkeley between August 2015 and April 2016. The course was co-taught by Prof. Larry Hyman and Dr. Steven Bird, and the language consultant was Guy Tchatchouang. All other listed contributors were students enrolled in the course or occasionally auditing it. Mr. Tchatchouang is a native speaker of Tswefap from Douala, Cameroon, and was a Berkeley undergraduate student at the time.
    • Scope and content: This collection is organized into three series: 001 consists of sound recordings of elicitation sessions conducted as a full class and in small groups, together with transcriptions in TextGrid files; 002 is preliminary descriptive material (e.g., handouts presented in class, data organized in spreadsheets); 003 is field notes.
