    • Historical information: These materials were produced as part of Linguistics 140, the undergraduate field methods course at UC Berkeley, taught by Larry Hyman and Thera Crane, and as part of a study group that met the following semester. The consultant was Simon Nsielanga Tukumu, and the remaining listed researchers were students in the course. See Crane et al. (2011:1-2) in Associated Materials for further details.
    • Scope and content: This collection consists of audio recordings of elicitation sessions and texts, with accompanying notes, from the field methods course and subsequent study group (see Historical Information), divided into whether the meeting was a class session or small group. File names have format "(Month)(Day)(Year)(Recordedby)(Track)(Language)(Briefdescription).wav," for example, 090508MCtr2NzNouns.wav, a recording from the main class (MC) from September 5, 2008, the second track recorded, about nouns. File bundle titles have been created summarizing the empirical domains listed in these file names.
