- Historical information: This collection represents fieldwork on multiple Yaeyaman languages and the Yonaguni language, conducted on the Yaeyama Islands (mostly on Ishigaki) in the southern Ryukyu Islands of Japan. The fieldwork was carried out by Raksit Tyler Lau-Preechathammarach in collaboration with other linguists. The fieldwork spanned October 2012 to June 2017.
- Scope and content: Elicitation focused largely on verb tense, aspect, and modality, but also covering various general phonological and morphosyntactic topics. The materials consist mainly of audio recordings, some of which are narratives, and some videos, with supplementary transcriptions and notes in EAF and TXT files bundled together with audiovisual files.
