  • Description: Museum (14- Catalogue) note: "[This account begins] at a point in the story where the younger brother leaves Svimelyehweke and goes south to obtain a wife and continues to the conclusion of the story." Keeling catalog note: "Singing of Chuhuecha songs is accompanied by beating a basket with a bundle of rods. The heroes of the myth are two brothers called Hanyuve. Hanyuve is also an insect, perhaps the cricket, that is said to sing Chuhuecha songs as it chirps." Distributed on California Indian Music Project, Southeast region, tape 18, side B.
