Description: Reel duplicate of original cylinder recordings of spoken narratives in Central Sierra Miwok and Yurok. Part of a series (24-87 through 24-103) prepared by James B. Hatch and Alfred L. Kroeber in November, 1957 for use in linguistics classes or in research. Yurok material performed by Kileli and Robert Spott. See 24-37 or more information. 24-101 contains the same duplicates as 24-99 (L-13) ['Story and Songs', 'Songs and Texts', 'List of Villages', and 'Vocabulary'] except that the disc transport speed was decreased for easier audition by linguists and the order of items is slightly different.
