- Description: Handwritten transcription and glossing of two texts, "Mastamho Myth" and "Niohaiva Myth." First recorded in October 1903 with Jo Nelson, and dictated to Kroeber on June 19 & 21, 1906 by Jack Jones. Transcription of this dictation in original notebook 55, pages 3-9, 11-17, 23-33, 47-51; and notebook 62, page 57-60. For original sound recording on wax cylinders, see 24-585. Second recorded in November 1905 with Aspa-sakam, and dictated to Kroeber on June 19 (second part) & 21 (first part), 1906. Transcription of this dictation in original notebook 62, pages 54-56 and 68-70, respectively. For original sound recording on wax cylinders, see 24-757; wax cylinder of second half (14-227) lost. Accompanied by note dated August 19, 1958 that they were "dontated to Dept by Prof Kroeber."
